I'm a member of the Westford Toastmasters group and it's a great way to meet people and improve your speaking skills at the same time. We meet at the JV Fletcher Library every Monday night from 7-8:30 unless the library is closed due to a holiday. Meetings are always open to guests who want to come in and see what they're like. You can just walk in. The meeting room is on the first floor of the library. I really enjoy the group and I've been able to make several friends. One place to check is the Community Information Database, which is maintained by many area libraries: http://community.mvlc.org - but contacting the library directly might be a good idea, too: http://westfordlibrary.org There's also http://mvhub.com but it's more for services than social groups.
